Why I'm Running
I am running for Congress to be a leader and tireless advocate for our community and our country and to stand up for the values we all share.
Now, more than ever, we need representatives who understand that leadership is about service and advocates who know how to stand up for what is right. I will be the leader and advocate we need fighting for us - I will not back down.
Our community is important to me. This is where I grew up, and this is my home. After serving as assistant and advisor to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Obama, I understand the complex issues we face and I know how to deal with them in a way that will not just move our country forward but will strengthen our diverse community.
I also know that in facing many of today’s most pressing issues, our government has failed us. As a country and as a community, we need our government to modernize and improve how it delivers the basic public services we all depend on for daily life. I want to stand up for our country and give back to the community that made me who I am today, because I believe that every member of our community deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
We are all concerned about the future of our country. As our Representative in Congress, I will stand up to the radical agenda, mismanagement, and cronyism of Donald Trump, and I will use my experience to advance sound public policy. Unlike our current representative, my role will be representing all of my constituents, and finding the best policy solutions to our community’s and our country’s needs, regardless of which side of the aisle they come from.
At home, I will lead the way in realizing our shared vision for the 10th District. By acting as a bridge between local and national decision makers, I will fight to make sure we invest in stronger schools, better public safety, and a thriving local business environment that creates good jobs with fair pay and paves the way for even greater future growth.
Achieving our goals won’t be easy, but together we can set our community and our country on the right path.
I invite you to join me on my campaign!
